Reline UV Group secured a sustainability-linked loan to improve its ESG priorities including health and safety, labor standards, energy efficiency, carbon footprint reduction, and production waste management. Toward reducing its GHG emissions, the company purchased new resin handling and mixing unit and aimed to electrify and automate its operations, minimize material usage, and decrease energy usage for tank farm, resin mixing unit, wet-out units, and LED lighting. The project is expected to have positive impacts on the environment, employee health and safety, and product quality. The loan was used to purchase the new equipment, and it is estimated to reduce annual emissions (of scopes 1-3) by 464 tCO2e and contribute toward a 2% increase in resource efficiency.
