Biomass power generation offers unique social and economic advantages, particularly in regions with strong forestry ties. Unlike other renewable energy technologies that mainly contribute during the development phase, biomass relies on locally sourced fuels, creating sustained local economic benefits. In Maine, ReGenerate facilities partner with over 70 Maine-based logging companies and about 10 sawmills, bolstering the forestry sector's income and supporting rural communities. This results in 53 direct jobs and approximately 260 indirect and induced jobs in these areas. In Georgia, 33 local logging companies and 9 mills supply fuel, generating 33 direct jobs and an estimated 170 indirect and induced jobs. Biomass power generation encourages sustainable forestry practices, ensures economic returns for landowners, and safeguards forested lands from conversion to other uses.

Caban specializes in integrated energy storage, management systems, and Energy-as-a-Service (EaaS) solutions tailored for the telecom industry. The surging demand for mobile services has intensified the sector's energy consumption and GHG emissions, with telecom operators contributing 2-3% to global energy demand, mainly from fuel and electricity. The impending 5G expansion necessitates more potent network elements, increasing energy usage. Caban addresses this challenge by converting passive energy infrastructure into sustainable active systems. Partnering with Ember, they introduced their first EaaS project, offering energy generation, backup, and management solutions with no upfront costs, resulting in an average 20% cost savings for Caban's customers. Further, in the year ending June 30, 2022, Caban had generated 537 MWh of renewable energy and helped its customers avoid 3,655 tons of CO2e.
