KKR and Ingersoll Rand made significant efforts to enhance employee engagement, worker safety, working conditions, training, and foster an ownership culture. As a result, the company achieved a remarkable reduction of over 80% in its voluntary turnover rate and almost 70% in its injury rate. Additionally, the employee engagement score, as measured by Gallup, increased from the 19th percentile to the 76th percentile. These measures led to a more than 4x return for investors. One of the critical factors behind this success was Ownership Works, which enabled shared ownership and helped create value.
