ZenBusiness

Contributing Source: ESG Report

With Gen Z poised to be the most entrepreneurial generation in history, ZenBusiness launched the Class of 2023 Initiative to help graduates kick-start their entrepreneurial dreams without steep financial burdens. The program grants over 2,000 graduates free LLCs and offers a six-week complimentary program that guides entrepreneurs in developing business plans, understanding financial best practices, and creating a straightforward marketing framework. ZenBusiness also partners with Synergies Work, the only incubator/accelerator in the US that has connected over 200 disabled entrepreneurs with the resources, networks, and communities they need to launch, grow, and scale sustainable businesses. Their Inmates to Entrepreneurs partnership has provided mentorship and programming to more than 100,000 individuals, with 20-30% starting their own companies. To support the 3.5 million working mothers who struggled during the pandemic, ZenBusiness initiated the #MOMSMEANBUSINESS program, providing tools for securing business names, forming LLCs, and tracking expenses to help mothers start and run their own businesses.

Maven

Contributing Source: ESG Report

Only 55% of women reenter the workforce after childbirth, often facing ongoing health issues. Maven partners with companies to support new parents' return to work. For example, the Maven Milk Program helps a US-based insurance company by facilitating breast milk shipment, enabling 50% of patients to breastfeed longer, which improves retention, lowers healthcare costs, boosts productivity, and enhances morale. Maven provides 24/7 access to pregnancy and newborn care, including OB-GYNs, doulas, lactation consultants, midwives, and sleep coaches. With 35% of appointments outside standard hours, new parents receive timely support. Maven's programs have reduced NICU admission rates by 28%, C-section rates by up to 20%, and increased return-to-work rates to 90%, compared to the national average of 57%.

Aplazo

Contributing Source: 2022 Social Impact Report

Aplazo is a tech-enabled platform that provides an alternative form of credit to increase access to financial solutions in Latin America. By offering installment loans, customers can build credit files and purchase goods they need and desire, while merchants can be more inclusive and consumers can split payments into a series of equal installments. This allows for increased up-front liquidity and a budget increase of 4-5x at the point of sale. Participating merchants have seen a 44% increase in recurrence of purchases.
